Ambassadors of Hope

This program connects hospital and outpatient rehabilitation patients with adaptive sailing as a gateway to rediscovering their potential after newly acquired disabilities such as traumatic brain injuries (TBI), spinal cord injuries (SCI) and other life-altering conditions.  Ambassadors provide peer mentorship, chaplaincy support, and relational bridges to help patients reintegrate into family life, community engagement and career pathways.  See  https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31834178/
